Passive Systeme zur Begrenzung der Aufheizung durch die Sonne bestehen im Wesentlichen aus Fassaden- und Dachbel\u00fcftungen. Das Dach ist der Geb\u00e4udeteil, der der Sonneneinstrahlung am st\u00e4rksten ausgesetzt ist; es kommt zu \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfiger Aufheizung von Dachboden und anderen R\u00e4umen und es entsteht hoher Energiebedarf zur K\u00fchlung durch Klimaanlagen. Dies ist in mehreren europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern, vor allem in S\u00fcdeuropa, wo es am ehesten von Bedeutung w\u00e4re, noch nicht gesetzlich geregelt.<\/p>\n<p>In S\u00fcdeuropa leben 130 Millionen Menschen auf 5,2 Milliarden Quadratmetern Wohnfl\u00e4che mit einer Dachfl\u00e4che von 1 bis 2 Mrd. m\u00b2 (ein- oder zweist\u00f6ckige Geb\u00e4ude, Mansarden usw.). <strong>Steild\u00e4cher sind in Regionen des Mittelmeerraums<\/strong> wie Italien, Spanien und Griechenland, aber auch in Frankreich, Portugal usw. sehr weit verbreitet. In Zukunft \u00a0k\u00f6nnten Ziegeld\u00e4cher von 50% auf 80% der Gesamtdachfl\u00e4che erh\u00f6ht werden (das hei\u00dft von 500 auf 1.300 Millionen Quadratmeter). Auch wenn der Energiebedarf zur K\u00fchlung vom Alter der Geb\u00e4ude und ihrer Nutzung abh\u00e4ngt, f\u00fchren mehrere Studien als Energiebedarf zur Raumk\u00fchlung den Wert von 60 kWht\/m\u00b2 an.
