INNOVATIVE DOCTORAL TRAINING STRATEGIES FOR EXCELLENCE IN OUTCOMES

On February 12th and 13th, a LIFE Herotile project two days presentation entitled “INNOVATIVE DOCTORAL TRAINING STRATEGIES FOR EXCELLENCE IN OUTCOMES” was held at the 4th FERRARA INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 2018 EDITION.
There were about fifteen students coming, as well as from Italy, Singapore, Iran, Albania, etc.
On the first day, LIFE project and first results were illustrated by prof. Giovanni Zannoni at Palazzo Tassoni, office of the Architecture Department of Ferrara University . In the afternoon, an inspection was carried out at the Teknehub University to visit the mock-ups of the project and provide further explanations on the research activities on the innovative shingles.
On the second day, a guided tour took place at the premises of Cotto Possagno Industries in Possagno. Dr. Mario Cunial – project coordinator – illustrated the group’s strategies regarding innovation and quality control and attention to the environment; the visit of the PhD students to the production plant was accompanied by Stefano Bistrot, Sandro Zanatta, Mario Cunial as well as professors of the proff University.
