LIFE-HeroTile at Yeruham mock up

In April, under the supervision of the LIFE-Herotile scientific partner Ferrara University, we proceeded to the installation of innovative tiles on a mock up specifically created for CAI factory, a tile manufacturer in brick at Yeruham in Israel, on the edge of the Negev desert where there are important climatic conditions.
The mock up is characterized by a series of pitches: some made with the new Marseilles and Portuguese Hero tiles, others made of standard Marseilles and Portuguese tiles and from a cover made of molded metal plates similar to that of bricks.
The aim is to allow a comparison between the performance of the various types of roofing in similar conditions of exposure.
