On June 22nd, in Nice, within the framework of the Annual Congress of Tiles and Bricks Europe (TBE), there was the Mid-Term Conference of Life HEROTile, during which the partners presented the progress of the project to the members of TBE and other stakeholders. The Conference took place in Nice, in the charming venue of Hotel le Royal in Promenade des Anglais.

During the conference, the Coordinator of the Life HEROTile project, Mario Cunial, presented the project to the participants, with a view to pass the message of the importance of including in the future legislative initiatives, at least as a best practice, the concept of the roofs with the new optimized-shape tiles developed by the project, which allow major ventilation and the reduction of the conditioning consumption in summer, thus contributing to the improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings.
